Our Cerasuolo is produced from Ramiiisol’s Montepulciano grapes. The 2019 was harvested a bit early for freshness. 2019 climate allowed for healthy development of flavors and sugars while retaining a fine acidity. The grapes received several hours of skin contact to achieve the vibrant color, then aged on lees for a year, along with some whole clusters. The lees aging in a concrete egg created a fresh energetic wine full of textures and complexity.
